Happy not-quite-Thanksgiving, y'all!  We were going to do two episodes this month as usual, but we got so pissed off at these racist-ass Native American romance books that
a) we decided to do one SuperSpecial instead! and b) Courtney wrote a paper about it.

Currently we're a feature on the Collinsport Historical Society podcast, because if you love trashy romance novels I'm gonna bet you also love soap operas with vampires and time travel. In our first episode we discuss Victoria Holt's "The Pride of the Peacock" - which has no sexual assault, even of the fantasy kind. Sadly, it has no sex at all. It does have SO MANY OPALS and a dude everyone calls the Peacock without busting out laughing tho.
