Special Edition - To Love and to Loathe by Martha Waters

We're back with Martha Waters for her second book , To Love and to Loathe !  If you remember, Martha had the unique bad luck to release her first book the week the world ended last year, and it's been so long that she's back with a sequel. The widowed Diana, Lady Templeton and Jeremy, Marquess of Willingham are infamous among English high society as much for their sharp-tongued bickering as their flirtation. One evening, an argument at a ball turns into a serious wager: Jeremy will marry within the year or Diana will forfeit one hundred pounds. So shortly after, just before a fortnight-long house party at Elderwild, Jeremy’s country estate, Diana is shocked when Jeremy appears at her home with a very different kind of proposition. After his latest mistress unfavorably criticized his skills in the bedroom, Jeremy is looking for reassurance, so he has gone to the only woman he trusts to be totally truthful. He suggests that they embark on a brief affair while at the house par

Episode 36 - Fanta C

If you follow us on social media you've already seen this episode - we released a Very Special Plague Episode back in May (when WAS May?  Did we have a May?  What happened in May?  Am I thinking of June?  Time has no meaning!) on YouTube, so you could see our beautiful faces!  We're now releasing just the audio, because many of you never saw the YouTube version and just subscribe via a podcast app.  You can get both versions here!  I recommend the YouTube one just because I wore my finest housecoat for you.

It sounds like that because we did it on Zoom.  By this time, y'all should be used to this.

Fanta C (Mason Sisters, #1)Welcome to Sandra Brown's Fanta-C, which should have been a sweet contemporary romance from the 80's but is actually kind of fucking disturbing in the weirdest and most unexpected way.  Meet Elizabeth, a prissy lady who wears pantyhose and slips and owns a store that sells potpourri for your mistress, and Thad (THAD!), a silver fox who has puppies at his house.  This is actually a great little book about a lady who has a rich dirty fantasy life but struggles with real life, except WARNING there is a big fat out of place ravishing in the middle of it, which we'll discuss.
